Learning about heritage and monuments through various programmes including concert, badge making and balloon workshop is a perfect match to spend your Easter Holidays.  If you would like to indulge in this “Eggstravaganza”, don’t miss this event scheduled for 2 April.

Heritage is a major component of our collective memory; archeological finds and historic buildings can always reflect the uniqueness of our history and culture.  As the Easter holidays are approaching, AMO is organising the “Easter Egg Hunt Fun Day” to enhance the public’s interest in and awareness of the heritage in Hong Kong through edutainment.

Activities include:

1. “Easter Egg Hunt”:  You can win an Easter egg with special gift by getting all the answers on questions related to archaeological finds and historic buildings correct.  Clues for the answers could be found in our exhibitions.
2. “Colour Your Easter Egg”:  Unleash your creativity!
3. “Colourful Historic Building Badge Making” Workshop:  Choose your favorite icon of historic buildings and make your own badge.
4. “Easter Bunny Balloon”:   The Easter Bunny balloons can surely enhance the festive ambience.

“Hidden Melodies of the Easter Eggs – Outdoor Music Concert”:  
Two sessions of live performance will be conducted by the Lung’s Family from the Greater Bay Area Philharmonic (Sponsored by The Tung Foundation). Pieces of best renowned classic music will be performed in Violin, Viola, Cello and Electone. The venue will be decorated with Easter eggs in different sizes. With imagination, participants can make a guess on which animal the eggs belong to while enjoying the beautiful melody.
