Through innovative heritage technology, the exhibition presents the aesthetics of the built heritage in Hong Kong.  Technology brings you to tour the historic buildings through virtual reality to appreciate their superb craftsmanship and structures in details. The exhibition comprises four parts: “Toy Brick AR Zone”, through augmented reality (AR) technology, visitors can take unique selfie photos with the models of four historic buildings constructed with toy bricks; Part II “Heritage Maze”, visitors have to make use of their own understanding of built heritage conservation to tour and escape from two declared monuments within the time limit; Part III “Interactive Heritage Wall”, visitors can appreciate the aesthetics of 16 selected historic buildings on the Interactive Heritage Wall from different angles through videos or by enlarging, compressing or rotating the three-dimensional images projected upon; in the last part, “Heritage Immersion” brings the visitors to four historic buildings through virtual reality, listen to the narration and explore the sites in an immersive way.
