Lingnan traditional architecture is an integral part of the cultural legacy of the Greater Bay Area, while the unique craftsmanship and techniques applied manifest the diverse yet unified nature of Chinese culture. A thematic exhibition entitled “Under the Same Roof: Origin and Art of Lingnan Traditional Architecture” is currently staged at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre (HDC) of the Antiquities and Monuments Office for enhancing public’s interest in and awareness towards the Lingnan traditional architecture. To celebrate the upcoming Chinese Lantern Festival, a fun day featuring Lingnan traditional architecture will be held.
