UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation: 17 award-winning projects of Hong Kong (12 September – 26 September 2017)

“The UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation” aims to recognise and encourage conservation and restoration projects under private initiative and public-private partnership within the Asia-Pacific region. Since the launch of the award in 2000, UNESCO has received 638 entries from 25 countries. A total of 196 projects have been honoured with the awards for heritage conservation by the international experts. Up to now, Hong Kong has received 17 awards*. This exhibition featuring the 17 winning projects aims to enhance public awareness of Hong Kong’s achievements in heritage conservation.
