Friends of Heritage Scheme 2017 (13th Batch) is now opened for application (Closed)

The Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) has received encouraging responses from the public since the launch of the Friends of Heritage (FOH) Scheme in 1997. Over the years, the Scheme has about eight hundred participants and more than four hundred members. FOH recruitment will be arranged biennially. Members will attend AMO’s lectures and workshops on history or heritage, visit heritage sites and volunteer in education activities. In addition, some of them have become docents after attending training programmes, who help convey the importance of heritage conservation to the public. AMO will keep a track record of the activity / service hours of each member every year. To complement the active FOH, awards will be presented to the most dedicated members of the year.
