Taipei Story House was transformed from a heritage site in 2003. Since its opening, all exhibitions have been dedicated to themes which showcase the cultural history of Taiwan.
The traditional old businesses of Taiwan is a subject which inspires nostalgic beauty and reminds us of an era which personified hard work, perseverance and a commitment to one's home. Through works of 50 Taiwan artists using different art forms, the "Taipei Story House presents The Story of Old Businesses in Taiwan" Exhibition introduces over 30 old businesses of Taiwan to friends in Hong Kong. We welcome you to join us in saluting these beloved masters from days gone by.
Through Taipei Story House, which was founded by K.C. Chen (Eva Tan), we also share in this exhibition Taiwan's experience in bringing new life to a modern metropolis by the conversion of small heritage buildings into arts/culture venues.
The exhibition is organised by the Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Center with the venue support from the Antiquities and Monuments Office.
