Each year, Le French May honours one of the 27 regions of France so as to promote the country’s vast history and culture. Even though the Burgundy region is most famous for its wines, the extreme diversity of its vineyards, which have been shaped by the encounter between humans and nature throughout the centuries, remain little-known. This exhibition has been carefully curated to showcase Burgundy’s stunning landscape and rich and diverse heritage of historical, architectural, religious, natural, ethnological and industrial aspects.
The exhibition is presented by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau and one of the programmes of Le French May 2013.
