“Tessera” was very commonly used in the buildings of Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s. Artisans often create mosaic patterns or images by assembling tesserae. This workshop introduced the mosaics created with tesserae in Hong Kong. Participants assembled a “Tessera Coaster” by themselves under our tutor’s guidance.
