The "China Cultural Heritage Day" has been designated on the 2^nd Saturday of June each year since 2006.  It has been renamed as “China Cultural and Natural Heritage Day” starting from 2017.  The Heritage Day aims at strengthening the public awareness of the importance of safeguarding our cultural and natural heritage.

10 June marked the "China Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" this year.  The Antiquities and Monuments Office, the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and the Greater Bay Area Philharmonic Hong Kong Orchestra joined hands to hold a concert at the Main Block of Tung Wah Hospital, a Grade 1 historic building.  In combining cultural heritage with music, our "Friends of Heritage" and "Young Friends of Heritage" enjoyed the charm of Hong Kong's cultural heritage, and enhanced their understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage through a series of touching melodies.
