Gate Lodge of Former Mountain Lodge

Gate Lodge was originally the gatekeeper’s lodge of the former Mountain Lodge. It was built between 1900 and 1902 as part of the reconstruction of the residence following its destruction in 1897. The Gate Lodge is designed in a Neo-classical style. The former Mountain Lodge was demolished in 1946. Gate Lodge remains and was declared a monument in 1995.
