15 Kotewall Road
The entire upper section of Kotewall Road was originally given over to coach houses staffed by families that worked for wealthy families who had mansions on Conduit Road, Kotewall Road and Po Shan Road. Built around 1923, Stone House is the last surviving example of all the coach houses that once lined Kotewall Road, and it is also one of Hong Kong’s early examples of a steel-reinforced concrete construction. The external wall of the house is a combination of brick and large granite stone. Stone House is now a private residence.
