The eaves end tiles unearthed at this site are adorned with patterns and motifs, such as peony and lotus petal patterns, which are both beautiful and auspicious. Peony represents wealth and prosperity, while lotus petal has religious significance. These meticulously crafted eaves end tiles exemplify the architectural aesthetic taste of the Song populace, demonstrating their pursuit of a high quality of life and the value they gave to the auspicious symbolism of these architectural elements.
