AMO applies 3D laser scanning technology to produce digital models of historic buildings and archaeological relics.  These 3D models help build up an archive for future reference in heritage conservation work and for display.  In addition to a brief introduction to this advanced technology, participants were taught to create a unique vending device and brought home with them a capsule of a 3D model of historic building component after the workshop.
