Original Site of Pedder Street Clock Tower

Junction of Queen’s Road Central and Pedder Street

The five-storey Pedder Street Clock Tower was constructed in 1861 both to house a clock and as a lookout to raise the alarm in the event of a fire. Located at the junction of Queen’s Road Central and Pedder Street, it was a famous landmark in the 19th century, but was demolished in 1913.
