Former French Mission Building
1 Battery Path

The Former French Mission Building, converted in 1917 from the mansion that originally stood on the site, is constructed in granite and red bricks in the Neo-classical style. Bought by the government from the French Mission in 1953, it was then occupied successively by the Education Department, the Victoria District Court, the Supreme Court and the Information Services Department. It housed the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal (CFA) between 1997 and 2015. The CFA was relocated to the Old Supreme Court building in September 2015. The building was subsequently renovated for use by law-related organisations and related purposes. The building was declared a monument in 1989.
